OAT PASTA ALFREDO

Alfredo sauce originates from Rome, where it was created by Alfredo di Lelio. Originally, it was very simple – just butter, Parmesan cheese, and pasta. Today, we know it in many creamy variations, and ours comes to life with oat pasta and crispy bacon.

Preparation time: approximately 20 minutes
Difficulty: Low
Servings: 4 people

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of oat pasta GLUTENO

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 100 g sliced bacon

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 200 ml cooking cream

  • a handful of grated Parmesan cheese

  • fresh parsley

  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, reserving some of the cooking water.

  2. Sauté the chopped garlic and sliced bacon in butter until fragrant and golden brown.

  3. Pour in the cooking cream, add salt and pepper, and wait for the sauce to heat up. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until it melts and the sauce becomes creamy. If it's too thick, add a little of the pasta water.

  4. Add the cooked oat pasta to the sauce and mix well.

  5. Just before serving, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
