GLUTEN-FREE FOCACCIA

Preparation time: 30 min + rising
Servings: 4 people

 
Ingredients:
– 50 g sugar,
– 15 g salt,
– 10 g dry yeast,
– 500 g water 
-15 g olive oil
– olive oil for the baking tray
– toppings e.g. tomatoes, olives, pesto, rosemary, bacon…
 
Instructions: 
Mix flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Add water and oil. Knead in a stand mixer for about 5 minutes.
Grease the baking tray well with olive oil and spread the dough in it. With wet fingers, make holes all the way to the tray, cover with foil and leave to rise for 2 hours.
Add your favourite toppings to the risen focaccia: olives, tomatoes, rosemary, cheese, bacon, pesto… and drizzle everything with olive oil.
Bake for 20–25 minutes at 220°C.
Let it cool slightly, slice and enjoy.
